Seventh Post

Friendship:

I would like to tell you guys a story, this one is about freshmen orientation in high school. Thats the time when you meet the freshmen class and some you'll never see again and others you will. Well at mine we met some upper class men too. They were pretty nice and knew exactly how to make you feel like you belonged; well for most people. There were the preps that seemed to all cling together for dear life and wouldn't let hardly anyone talk to them.
Well, in this story there was one person who had just moved there in February, she was someone you would call a prep but she didn't know in one like the others did (someone at least had known one person there that day), well before everyone met in this hall I met someone who was scared and terribly. She didn't even want to get out of the car, so I was walking by and her mom asked if I was a freshmen at this school. I said yes and she asked if I could help her daughter and be friends with her and of course I said yes. Her daughter was really quiet. She told me her name and we went into the hall; we sat together and waited for someone to speak up in front. (I'm mean a teacher) and later that day during the tour of campus I met the one from out of state and she told me her name and we all hung out together during freshmen orientation; but when the classes started next week only on of them stated with me as a friend and that was the shy one and she is a great friend.
Thank you Myia :)
